For 18 years, Tinja-Riikka stood as a backbone of Finland's national team, captaining the team through countless battles to historical achievements, inspiring generations with her presence and personality both on and off the pitch. "Tinja-Riikka Korpela represents everything we believe in at Home Team Games. Her incredible career is an epic journey of dedication, leadership, and love for the game. For me as a football fan, she has been a reassuring guardian who fans have always been able to count on in exciting national team matches, even in the toughest spots. But what makes this collaboration truly special is her commitment to using football as a force for good. Standing up for equality, human rights, and dignity for all. She's not just a brilliant goalkeeper; she's a role model who shows that real heroes defend what matters most, both on and off the pitch. We're deeply honoured to celebrate her legacy."
